Weekly Menu with Ayurvedic Detoxing Mom and Normal teenagers :))

When you start a detox, the main concern becomes how am I going to cook for me and family separately.

With a bit of planning, this can become easier and remember when you detox you eat less, you eliminate many things from your diet so your part actually has less work:)

If you are interested in going for detox, I suggest you read my blog post about detoxing here and understand well before you go for yourself. And always consider your own health, check with your doctor if you have some special conditions.

Here is my Ayurvedic detox menu for the week, which will be more or less the same everyday with a little varition that I mention below.

I am going to try recipes from Laura Plumb, Ayurveda Cooking for Beginners. I already did a few great recipes from her book and really enjoyed them as well as the easy to grasp information on Ayurveda.

This week I will make a transition of having less dairy, caffeine, alcohol, gluten and sugar. And then the next 2 weeks I will cut completely for a good cleanse. I like transitions better however some people like to do it all at once, so you can decide on it.
